In shades of green and purple
Paint the world in abstract swirls
Dance all cares away
The sun is shining bright for you

Tip a nod to a Druid cove
The trees are old
With tales unknown
Looking on high for Llew's soft road
Passions seared in shades of gold

A canvas room and soggy rusks:
The twilight's drawn for dawn and dusk.

Another one that was written for one of the first artist friends I made on-line, back at Elfwood, back in 2003 
~Willowsmummy is another excellent artist, and she's over here in DA as well (hence the link), and deserves your love. This was written for both her, and her daughter, and was first inspired by the story of her daughter and those rusks (and the explanation of what those were 
...I am soooo not British, and need such explanations). If parts sound a bit like the last song, the one for Jay, that's because they were written at basically the same time...and also because Jay & Em were both helpful, friendly, and inspirational to me when I first introduced my work on-line (Em, Jay & Bekah...no wonder they each got their own songs!). Lucky for the two of them, I found the pages I wrote these on, otherwise it've been lost to me, unless they still have the e-mails with them...because I don't 
Em, I'll ask you like I asked Jay...If you do still have a copy of the version I sent you, does it have a title? Because the paper didn't have a title on it, and I can't rememeber what it was. Five years is a long time though...
